CE 531 Quantifying Uncertainty in Civil & Environmental Engineering

Introduction to uncertainty quantification; fundamentals of probability theory, forward propagation of uncertainties, probabilistic inference from data; civil and environmental engineering applications.
Recommended Preparation: Calculus and linear algebra on the level of MATH 245 . Programming and basic knowledge of Python or Matlab on the level of CE 108  or ITP 115 .
